Round barrels, slightly constricted in the middle, with distinct central rib. Smooth bores in 12.5 mm calibre. Fine silver-inlaid floral décor (darkened) at the breeches. Locks with heavily domed plates, signed "PA. Cetterio". Finely curved pans with small flash guard. Full stocks of beautifully grained walnut wood with dark horn noses. Rich inlays of finely engraved sheet silver with floral motifs surrounded by fine silver wire inlays (small defects in places). The silver thumb plates are monogrammed "CB" under a count's crown. High-quality iron mounts with finely chiselled offset edges, partially with chiselled floral ornaments. Original ramrods with horn tips. Length 29 cm each. Extremely finely crafted pair of luxury pistols in exquisite condition.Provenance: Georg Britsch, art dealer, with a certificate of authenticity and the original invoice from 1998 for 13,000 DM.
