Description

Round, blackened barrel, smooth bore in 17 mm calibre. Dovetailed sights. The lock with external wheel and sliding pan cover. The heads of the lock screws underlaid with bone. Trigger with sliding safety and domed iron trigger guard. The stock in blackened beech with brass butt plate and ramrod ferrules. Original wooden ramrod. Length 166 cm. Wheellock muskets are extremely rare and, unlike matchlock muskets, were only purchased in small numbers and usually only issued for special operations or the night watch.
