Description
Heavy, tapered barrel in wrapped Damascus steel with a cannon muzzle. A lug on the underside to insert the support. Smooth bore in 32 mm calibre, a lateral ridge (possibly a repair) in the front third, therefore not functional. Fine floral engraving on the tang and at the breech, "Made in Topchana Talawar No 1 1872" inscribed at the breech. Percussion lock with additional eyelet mounted on the opposite side of the lock to release the trigger by means of a pull cord. Both lock plates with delicate floral engraving, moreover a serpent on the right. Half stock with engraved iron furniture. The wood with signs of wear, cracked on both sides of the butt. Length 120 cm. Associated iron rest with a screw-mounted pin, the stand of later date.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
