Hollow-forged, round iron head entirely covered in deeply etched ornamental décor. Round, slightly conical socket with a welded seam in brass solder on the side. The wooden stock with remnants of the original textile cover and silver braid on the side. Iron knob cap with lanyard loop. Length 59 cm. According to tradition, the mace was used in the Battle of Vienna at Kahlenberg Mountain in 1683.Condition: II - Questions about the lot?
