Description
Straight bog iron blade from the 17th century with exquisite pamor and gold-inlaid chakras on both sides. Curved blade root with gold inlays, slightly chipped near the point. The mendak, decorated with strings of pearls as well as ruby and sapphire cabochons, merging with gilt selut decorated with rich diamond-set floral ornaments. Slender Java handle with anthropomorphically carved patra (slight traces of glue at the base and a small crack at the pommel). Slightly curved wrangka made of timoho wood and raised gandar with florally chased pendok blewah. Length 51 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
