Description

Shinogi zukuri blade, long chu-kissaki. Ko itame hada, gunome choji midare hamon, boshi barely discernible. Minor cracks and bubbles here and there. Gilt copper habaki, nakago with three mekugi-ana, mumei. Outstanding tachi mounting in partially gilt shakudo with small mons ornaments. Tsuba forged in three pieces with appliqués on both sides. Tsuka with yellow silk wrapping over same, shakudo menuki with three mons. Finely lacquered saya with three-dimensional mons in gold paint. Fine mounting in partially gilt shakudo, leather carrying straps with silk cord. Blade length K/M 65.6 cm, overall length 105 cm.
