Description

Hira zukuri blade. Hada ko-itame, some masame, hamon sugu ha with togai. Silver-plated habaki. Nakago with one mekugi-ana, subsequently inscribed „Kiyomaro”. Tsuka with dark thread weave over black-coloured same. Iron fuchi-kashira with fine decorative tendrils inlaid in gold. Partially gilt bronze menuki in the form of shells. Silver kotsuka with dragons between waves, the blade signed. Kogai in shakudo with fine gold inlays. Tsuka with fine aogai lacquer, minor flaws and restorations in places. Iron mounting with fine decorative tendrils inlaid in gold, rubbed here and there. Blade length K/M 34 cm, overall length 50.5 cm.
