Description

The blade shinogi zukuri, chu kissaki. Itame masame mokume hada, Hamon slightly wavy sugu ha. Brass habaki. The grip-end of the blade shortened in the time of use. Nakago with a mekugi ana, mumei. Iron tsuba decorated with mallow leaves and with remainders of guilding. Velvet-covered tsuka with black silk binding. Iron fuchi/kashira with mallow leaves, inlaid in silver. Gold-plated menuki. Iron kotsuka with a landscape decoration and remainders of gold plating. Varnished saya with mallow leaf decoration in slight relief. Overall length 60.5 cm.
