Description

Single-edged blade in finely figured wootz-Damascus with shallow fullers on both sides. Deeply chiselled foliage decoration on both sides of the root, a gold-inlaid signature on the reverse. Finely chased spine with a medial ridge and gold inlays. Calligraphic cartouches chiselled on the grip ferrule and bands. Riveted grip scales carved in crystalline walrus ivory. The wooden scabbard stitched with wire and covered in shagreen leather, the chape knob in walrus ivory. Length 39.5 cm. PLEASE NOTE: NO EXPORT OUTSIDE THE EU!
