Description

Strongly curved, double-edged blade with a medial rib on both sides. Silver ferrule with filigree decoration. The grip carved in one piece of honey-coloured rhinoceros horn with closely inserted silver pins on the front. The scabbard covered in cloth, tightly wrapped with brocade threads. Silver mountings with fine filigree decoration, the silver suspension rings with silver wire winding. Velvet-lined brocade belt with silver buckle. Length of the djambya 35 cm, belt length approx. 95 cm.
