Description

Typically curved, single-edged blade in finely figured wootz-Damascus. Ferrule and grip frame in gilt silver decorated with fine filigree and lavishly set with corals (two small inlays have been lost). The grip scales carved in crystalline walrus ivory, the right-hand one with a well-repaired crack. The wooden scabbard encased in partially gilt silver sheet with delicate chased and hammered embellishment, the locked with filigree décor, lavishly set with corals on the front. Length 81 cm.
