Sturdy, double-edged blade, cut with double fullers on both sides. An etched Damascus pattern in the fullers, a double smith's mark (star) stamped on one side. Grip in fire-gilt bronze (partially rubbed), both sides lavishly embellished with turquoises set in silver. Wood-lined silver scabbard, the front gilt. The chape with fine filigree, engraved signature and date "321" (= 1903). A small, movable suspension loop on the back. Length 57 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
