Cal. .22lr, SN. 10175, over/under barrels, bright bores, length 14.4 cm (5,7") each. Cylinder holds 20 rounds in two rows, plus 10 additional bores to reduce weight. The barrel top marked "Peter Merz in Basel", serial number below grip panel, no proof or other markings. SA only. On the right hand side loading gate, which can only be operated, when the hammer is half cocked. Dual ejector rod. Cylinder transport inspired by Mauser's Zig-Zag revolver. Cocking the hammer rotates the cylinder 18° and alternately fires a cartridge from the top resp. bottom barrel. Iron sights. Wide hammer spur with checkering. Original finish with minor signs of wear, hammer and trigger polished. Some tendrils rather amateurishly engraved on the frame. Walnut grips with checkering. This revolver is most likely a unique specimen, hand-made with precision by a little known Swiss gun maker. The only mention in the literature that we could find is an article in the German monthly "Visier", November edition of 2019. Extremely interesting collector's item!WBK: Attention - For this gun we will need to obtain an export license for you, based on your import permit (if needed in your country) or through your firearms dealer - more info here
