Semi-hollow version in fine zinc, the gilding of the wreath exceptionally well preserved, inset iron plaque marked "100", the silvered and patinated eagle appliqué attached with four rivets. The back with a thin vertical wire pin on an iron hinge. Width approx. 48.2 mm. Weight approx. 35.3 g. Grade IV and V Assault Badges are some of the rarest Wehrmacht combat awards.
