Description

Sandstein. Vollplastische Darstellung einer Gottheit oder Apsara auf annähernd quadratischem Sockel, unter dem sich ein pyramidenförmiger Zapfen zur Verankerung befindet. Oberfläche fein ausgearbeitet und poliert. Um ihre Hüfte trägt sie einen Sari mit ornamental verziertem Gürtel. Aufwendig gearbeiteter Hals-, Ohren- und Armschmuck. Ihre Haare sind zu Zöpfen gebunden. Ihr Dutt ist mit einem in drei Zonen verzierten, konischen Textil abgedeckt. Sie trägt ein floral verziertes Diadem. Auf einem aus Stahlblech verkleideten Sockel. Bis auf die unterhalb der Schulter abgebrochenen Arme und kleine Abplatzer an Diadem und Sockel gut erhaltene Stele. Höhe der Figur 87 cm. Gesamthöhe 92,5 cm, Gesamtgewicht 19,44 kg.
