Description

Tailored, eight button formal ornamental Waffenrock of field-grey tricot wool, dark green cuffs and collar, piped in red along collar, cuffs, front panel and rear scalloped skirt flaps. Silver-finish pebbled buttons on front and rear skirt. Shoulder boards for the rank of Hauptmann of silver-aluminum cords on red backing with two gilt finish metal rank pips and gilt finish metal “GD” regimental cypher. Silver-aluminum embroidered collar tabs on red backing, machine-applied. Silver-aluminum embroidered breast eagle on green backing, re-applied. Ornamental cuff bars embroidered in silver-aluminum on red backing, machine-applied. Loops for two badges on left breast. Dress aiguillette of silver-aluminum braided cords attached at tunic button and button underneath shoulder board. Lined in green artificial silk with cream-color sleeve linings, internal waist adjustment belt with silver finish buckles, inside pocket, no tailor label. Minor moth nips to tunic cuff, lower hem and back, armpit linings with loose threads.
