Description

Cap body in dark blue wool, black velvet cap band, red piping, black leather chinstrap with metal buckles, attached by two black smooth finish buttons. Silver-finish metal eagle with gilt crossed hammers, metal wreath and cockade with red cloth insert. Black lacquered visor with brown, checkered finish underside. Orange-brown cloth lining, moisture shield intact, manufacturer mark “Gädicke Saarbrücken”. Brown leather sweatband, owner’s initial discs “HS” attached. Size ca. 55.
