Description

Cap body in dark blue tricot wool, black silk cap band with woven oakleaf pattern, gilt piping, gilt chin cords attached by two gilt finish pebbled buttons. Gilt finish metal 1938 pattern eagle and DAF wreath with swastika at centre. Black lacquer finish visor with black, checkered finish underside. Blue-grey artificial silk lining, partial moisture shield, black leather perforated sweatband with owner’s name handwritten in black ink and white cloth RZM tag on underside. Exhibits age. Size ca. 57.
