Cap body in green wool, black velvet cap band, red piping, green chin cords with red accents attached by two smooth black finish buttons. Silver finish metal eagle, metal cockade with red cloth insert. Black lacquered visor with tan, checkered finish underside. Orange-brown oilcloth lining, moisture shield intact, manufacturer mark “Gottfr. Dahl Neuss”. Light brown perforated leather sweatband. Moderate moth nips. Exhibits age. Size ca. 55.
