Cap body in grey tricot wool, black mohair cap band, silver-aluminum piping, silver-aluminum chin cords attached by two silver-finish pebbled buttons. Silver-finish metal cockade with red cloth insert, silver-aluminum embroidered WLS eagle. Black leather visor with green, checkered finish underside. Gold artificial silk lining, moisture shield missing, brown leather perforated sweatband. Lining and sweatband with moisture damage. Minor moth nips. Exhibits age. Size ca. 53.
