Cap body in dark blue wool, black velvet cap band, red piping, black leather chinstrap with metal buckles attached by two smooth black finish buttons. Gilt finish metal eagle and railway wings, metal cockade with red cloth insert. Black lacquered visor with brown, checkered finish underside. Orange-brown oilcloth lining, moisture shield intact with manufacturer mark “Carl Isken Köln”, size stamped “57”, brown ersatz leather sweatband. Minor moth nips. Exhibits age. Size ca. 57.
