Cap body in black wool, black mohair cap band, silver-aluminum piping, silver-aluminum chin cords attached by silver-finish pebbled buttons. Large diplomatic eagle embroidered in silver-aluminum over black backing, wreath embroidered in silver-aluminum over black. Black lacquered visor with black, smooth finish underside. Black artificial silk lining, moisture shield intact with owner’s name handwritten on paper tag “Dr. Jur. Hans Paschen” and judicial sword underneath. Grey leather sweatband manufacturer marked to Clemens Wagner. Minor moth nips. Exhibits age. Size ca. 56.
