Cap body in blue-grey wool, Bordeaux-red cap band and piping, black braided chin cords attached by two black smooth finish buttons. Silver-finish, dark-toned metal eagle, civil employee insignia of aluminum swastika within oakleaves with stylized wings. Black lacquered visor with green, checkered finish underside. Orange-brown oilcloth lining, partial moisture shield, manufacturer-mark “Carl Halfar Berlin” with size “56” and year “1940”. Brown leather sweatband.
