Cap body in white cotton, black mohair cap band, white piping, black leather chinstrap with metal buckles, attached by two smooth finish black buttons. Gilt finish metal crossed anchors with wings and swastika superimposed. Black lacquered visor with brown, checkered underside. Orange-brown oilcloth lining, moisture shield missing with remains of manufacturer mark. Brown leather perforated sweatband with owner’s initials. Light soiling. Exhibits age. Size ca. 55.
