Description

This model was discontinued in the mid 1930’s. Blade has ca 61cm cutting edge, ca 80 cm overall. Unsigned, Murata type construction. The blade is stained, scratched and scuffed. Both sides have a full-length Bo-hi (groove or fuller), the temper line is midare or irregular and is visible on both sides. The sword mounts are in very good condition. The scabbard is fish skin, the handle is white fish skin with a family “mon” or crest in silver on the back strap. It has the correct white and red sword knot. Ca. 88 cm.
