Description

Cal. .41Rimfire, SN. 3322, barrel length 2 1/4", bright bore. Five shots. The left-hand side of the barrel marked "COLT NEW .41". On top of the barrel marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co / Hartford, CT. U.S.A.". Barrel and cylinder blued, the frame colour-case hardened. Rosewood grips. Very well maintained. Shipped by Colt on December 1, 1878, in New York, as stated on the Colt Factory letter. Comes from the famopus William Locke collection.
