Description

Brownish-red, strongly white veined marble with an ormolu bronze mounting. Mounted on a square pedestal with indented corners. Fluted, circular base. A leaf-shaped ornament in relief at the lower edge of the body. The domed press-in lid with delicate foliage and three-dimensional grape pommel. Two detailed ram's heads on the sides, holding two garlands of fruit in high relief. The vase wrought with magnificent workmanship. Minor defects. Dimensions 46 x 26 x 20 cm.
