Description

Feuervergoldetes Gehäuse mit plastisch getriebenem Blumendekor, dazwischen Putti. Ziffernblatt aus Zinn und Messing, im Zentrum fein graviertes Allianzwappen, die Wappenschilde vakant. Vorderpendel mit Gewicht in Form eines vergoldeten Cherubim. Originale Hängeöse aus Messing. Rechteckiges Vollplatinenwerk, signiert "Marcus Böhm Augusta Vindelicorum". Spindelhemmung, Kette/Schnecke, floral gravierte aufgelegte Schlossscheibe. Höhe ohne Öse 40,5 cm. Marcus Böhm (1650 - 1732), als Uhrmacher in Augsburg tätig, 1702 Geschworener der Kleinuhrmacherinnung. Er verwendete als einer der ersten Augsburger Uhrmacher das kurze Pendel vor dem Zifferblatt.
