Description

A portrait of Pope John XXIII on the front. A representation of the Holy Ghost in relief on the back, surrounded by the raised inscription "CONCILIUM OECUMENICUM VATICANUM II UT UNUM SINT". Stamped with the mark of fineness "900", master's mark and no. "1209". Diameter 4.5 cm, weight 49.95 g. Including the original presentation case and certificate. Pope John XXIII was the 261st head of the Catholic Church for four years and seven months from 28 October 1958 until his death on 3 June 1963.
