Description

Schwere und fein geschnittene Relieftafel aus schwarzem Granit(?). Auf einem Lotusthron in dhyana-mudra meditierend sitzender Buddha, tief eingelassen in eine blendverzierte Nische. Ihre aufwendig profilierten Säulen, jeweils von einem Fabelwesen auf gekrümmten Beinen bekrönt, laufen in einen dreipassig geschwungenen Bogen mit Maskaron-Abschluss aus. Darüber drei weitere, unterschiedlich gravierte Friese mit überlappenden Figurennischen. Mäßige Witterungsspuren. Im Boden rund um den Lotusthron zwei Aussparungen zur Befestigung der Stele. Maße 41 x 26 cm.
