Description
Steel helmet M 33 with four ventilation lugs (instead of three), green paint finish (partially corroded). Brown leather lining, complete with greyish-green leather strap. Greyish-green winter field cap, the GNR badge for enlisted men embroidered in red on greyish-green cloth, olive green lining, the wearer's initials "C.G." at the nape. Greyish-green winter tunic, a modified M 1937 of the MVSN, with black collar tabs and appliquéd "Double M", both sleeves still bearing the MVSN rank insignia of a Vice Capo Squadra. Olive green lining with MVSN stamp, the wearer's initials "C.G." again at the nape. Worn condition, moth damage. Moreover, the matching greyish-green winter trousers with MVSN stamp. Black shirt without breast pockets. Also includes a pair each of greyish-green puttees, grey woollen socks and heavily worn ankle boots with nailed soles. A greyish-green leather belt with magazine pouches, a T35 gas mask in a sand-coloured satchel, a canteen and a sand-coloured bag M 1939.
