Description

The Skull Ring custom made by silversmiths Otto and Karolina Gahr of Munich. Soldered beneath the separately mounted skull, the dedication engraved on the inside reads "S. lb. Steck 21.6.44 H. Himmler". Weight 10.1 g, inside diameter 19.7 mm. Dr. Paul Steck (born 21 September 1901) was latterly Obersturmführer and head of the Reichsschule in Flanders. Comes with the experise by Don Boyle, the brochure and book written by him, "SS Totenkopf – H. Himmler Honor Ring – 1933-1945", plus research material in the form of photocopies of Steck's documents.
