Description

Fayence Teller, farbig bemalt mit verschiedenen Motiven um die Hafenstadt Brest, Beschriftung am Rand "Mit der Kriegsmarine in der Bretagne 1940-1941", Rückseite mit Herstellermarkierung der Firma Henriot Quimper, Durchmesser 32 cm. Seltener Geschenkteller anlässlich der Verabschiedung von Admiral Gustav Kieseritzky. Er diente in dieser Zeit als Hafen- und Seekommandant Brest und war anschliessend Kommandant der Seeverteidigung Bretagne. Es dürften nur wenige Teller hergestellt worden sein.
