Handmade ring in 18 carat gold, relief decoration, no hallmark. A skull at the top with diamonds for eyes and crossed bones, below which "AS 88" for Seefliegerstaffel 88. "Legion" and "Condor" inscribed on the side. The ring shank engraved "R.B." for Richard Bodin on the inside. Weight 13.44 g. Another gold ring by Richard Bodin, also handmade in 18 carat gold, identical jeweller's craftsmanship, no hallmarks, his initials "RB" in the ring crest. Weight 18.09 g. 23 contemporary photographs; please note the picture where he is sitting at his desk, he looks to be wearing this LC ring. Moreover, several photocopies of personnel lists in the AS/88, two portrait photos (prints), his hunting permit dated 1979 and two Legion Condor books. Richard Bodin was also awarded the Spanish Cross in Bronze with Swords.Provenance: Consigned directly from the family estate.
