Knight's Cross of the War Merit Cross with Swords, made of silver, mark of fineness "900", and the manufacturer's mark "1" for Deschler & Sohn in the lower cross arm, polished edges and swastika, complete on the long, customised neck ribbon. Miniature of the Knight's Cross of the War Merit Cross on buttonhole mount, the manufacturer's mark "Steinhauer & Lück" and "LDO" stamped on the back, in the original presentation case, along with three other miniatures. Tailcoat chain with all seven awards. War Merit Cross 1st and 2nd Class without Swords. Badge for Wehrwirtschaftsführer (executives of companies important for producing war materials), small civilian version, gilt non-ferrous metal. Saxon Knight's Cross 2nd Class of the Albert Order with Swords in the presentation case. Iron Cross 1914, 1st and 2nd Class, the 1st Class in the original presentation case. Iron Crescent Moon, enamelled, with manufacturer "B.B.&Co.", on orders clasp. Kingdom of Bulgaria, Order of Military Merit V grade with Swords on war decoration, in the original presentation case, one side of the lid is missing. The Honour Cross for Combatants. Award documents for the War Merit Cross 2nd Class without Swords, Iron Crescent, Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914, Bulgarian Order of Military Merit (certificate of ownership), Honour Cross for Combatants and for the Albert Order, with preliminary award document. 20 press photos, the back stamped "Der Reichsminister für Rüstung und Kriegsproduktion", the pictures feature high-ranking officials like Hitler, Bormann, Speer, GFM Milch, etc. One photo shows the Knight's Cross of the War Merit Cross being presented to Max Langenohl by Albert Speer, plus a further two photos with Langenohl wearing the award. Seven documents dating from 1908 to 1925, mostly World War I. 63 photographs from circa 1914 to 1937/1938, the images show his service as an officer in World War I and private photos while hunting. Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria can be seen in one photograph. Moreover, a pair of shoulder boards (field-grey) for a Leutnant of Nachrichten-Ersatz-Abteilung 16, his hunting permit dated 1941, a patriotic ring, order ribbons, ribbon bars, etc. Max Langenohl served as an officer in World War I. During World War II, he was Wehrwirtschaftsführer and Director of Deutsche Eisenwerke AG. He was presented the Knight's Cross of the War Merit Cross by Albert Speer personally on 22 May 1944. The award ceremony took place during a conference in Linz. Moreover, Albert Speer was a close friend of Langenohl's. The Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach family of industrialists were also part of Max Langenohl's inner circle. Consigned directly from the family estate; has never been part of a collection.
