Description

Versilbertes Etui, innen mit der Darstellung des Zeppelins und der Gravur "Gekauft an Bord des D-LZ 129 Hindenburg", Maße 8 x 11 cm. Es fehlt der kleine Stift hinten im Scharnier. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Das Etui wurde aus den Trümmern des LZ 129 geborgen. Am 6. Mai 1937 wurde das Luftschiff bei der Landung in Lakehurst (New Jersey, USA) zerstört. Ursache für den Absturz war eine entzündete Wasserstofffüllung.
