Rectangular licence on yellowish paperboard. The pre-printed form filled-in handwritten in ink, issued for "Herrn Heinrich Himmler, Reichsführer SS u. Chef d. D. Polizei - Gmund", Miesbach, dated 14.4.39. Stamped photograph in uniform with cap. Original signature of Himmler in ink as well as signature of an administrative officer, also in ink. On the reverse side a printed table about close seasons and minimum dimensions of the regional freshwater fish. Folded in the middle, slightly torn at the fold, the edges with minor imperfections, faded. Dimensions 10 x 13 cm. Personal fishing licence of Heinrich Himmler, whose private residence in Gmund near Lake Tegernsee was situated within the administrative district of Miesbach.Provenance: Hermann Historica, auction 60 in 2010, lot 3140.
