Description

In the middle two large handle loops with a white monogram "EG" to the right and left of them. The interior has a writing surface covered with moiré silk, with storage compartments in the sides for writing paper, visiting cards, notepaper etc. Unsigned, but presumably from Frieda Thiersch's Munich atelier. Closed dimensions 48 x 68 cm. Beautiful, tasteful case from the possessions of the national actress and wife of Hermann Göring.
