Description

The book "Die Reitkunst im Bilde" by Ludwig Koch, 1928 edition, with dedication in ink: "In memory of the splendid tournament days in Heiligenhaus in May 1935 from your grateful Count Stauffenberg" (tr.). According to the consignor, the book was a gift to the organizer of the tournament. Enclosed a repro photo of Count Stauffenberg and Hans Kreller at this tournament. On 20th July 1944, Count von Stauffenberg carried out an assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler at the Führer's headquarters "Wolfsschanze". A very rare signature with dedication.
