Description

Solid silver Schützenkönig necklace with 18 incorporated medals surrounded by roped silver trims. Incorporated into the centre a medal of the Munich Bügerschützen from 1927, surrounded by oak leaves, crown and three coloured gemstones. On the reverse engraved names of two marksmen. Attached a medal with the portrait of Crown Prince Rupprecht of the Bavarian Shooting Association from 1926. The necklace made of 16 ambilaterally embossed silver medals commemorating the annual national shooting competition from 1862 to 1930. With medals of the 1st-5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th and 17th-19th national competitions. Two different medal versions used for the 15th and 18th competition. Length approx. 59 cm, weight 864 g.
