Description

Bronze with moderate patina. Round, slightly tapered barrel with smooth bore in 8.3 cm calibre. Distinctly reinforced muzzle, sturdy trunnions on the sides. Raised escutcheon with monogram "DP" applied on the upper side. Reinforced breech block open at the top with original liner and wedge. Behind the breech marked "23". Breech face with long integrally cast alignment rod. Length of bore 85 cm. Barrel length 114.5 cm, overall length 178 cm.
