Shinogi zukuri blade, iori-mune. Ko-kissaki. Hamon san bon gunome, nioi deki. Boshi midare hakikake, kaeri yoru ko itame hada, mokume chikei. Gilt brass habaki. Kuijuri nakago with two mekugi-ana, mumei. Koshirae hyogo gusari tachi made of delicately engraved bronze with scant remnants of gilding. Brown-lacquered saya (flaws in places) with several gold-coloured mon. Blade length K/M 67.9 cm, overall length 102 cm. Fine tachi with superior blade, forged in the old style. The mounting is original and was produced at the same time as the blade towards the end of the 18th century.
