Description

Cal. .45 ACP, SN. 115180, Bright bore. 5" barrel with acceptance mark "S / P". Mag holds seven rounds. Long hammer spur. No modern proof marks. Made in 1915. On the left hand side of the slide Colt company specifications with pre-1911 patents, "Springfield Armory / U.S.A.", and at the end the "flaming bomb". The frame with shallow marking "United States Property" and small "flaming bomb". On the right hand side of the slide a Springfield eagle and "Model of 1911. U.S.Army", the frame marked "No 11518". Well preserved high-gloss finish >95%. Dark brown, the chequering on the walnut grips sharp. Correct two-tone lanyard loop magazine. As-new condition.
