DescriptionCal. .430, SN. 75, Bright 6-groove bore, octagonal barrel. Top-break operated via chequered release lever on rear of frame. 6-shot fluted cylinder with ejection ports, here: simultaneous case ejection. Double Action. Concealed hammer. Rib marked "Kynoch Gun Factory Aston", top strap "Patent Model". Complete, original finish in places minimally spotted. Triggers polished white. Walnut grip panel with fine chequering. Lanyard loop.
These revolvers were offered to the Metropolitan Police London around 1886 in various sizes and calibres, but were not accepted. Cf. i.a. H.P. Muster, Revolver Lexikon, p. 133 - 134.
