Cal. .455 Webley-Fosbery, SN. 4328, Matching numbers. Bright bore. Top break action. Barrel length 190 mm (7-1/2"). Six-shot cylinder. Proof marks. Made around 1914. The barrel marked with dealer's address "William Evans. 63. Pall Mall. London". Marked "Webley Fosbery" on the left side of the top strap, "455 Cordite" on the frame. At the grip strap the owner’s name "J. Bazley-White / 2/7th West Yorks Regt. Leeds Rifles". Original bluing, signs of wear at the barrel edges, more distinctive at the cylinder, thinner at the grip. Black hard rubber grip panels, the left one with a glued crack at top.
