Description

Round barrel with flared octagonal muzzle. Smooth bore in 14 mm calibre. The barrel surface finely etched with trophies and thistles, two acceptance marks struck to the side of the breech. Finely engraved lock with traces of original bluing, engraved signature “MacLeod”. Rain-proof pan with frizzen on rollers. Iron button trigger. Iron all-metal stock finely etched with thistles and trophies. Inserted into the butt stock a broach, slender iron ramrod. Length 31.5 cm.

The auction includes 726 lots and starts on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 5001 - 5727. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 and Oct. 28 - 31, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
