Description

Four bolted turn-off barrels with smooth bores in 13 mm calibre. The root numbered "0-3". Engraved iron box lock with trophy decor. Maker’s name "P. Bond 45 Cornhill/London" within a cartouche. Central hammer with sliding safety. Bright metal parts, slightly spotty. Wood grip with signs of age and use, silver thumb rest. Mechanically in working order. Length circa 18 cm.
P. Bond is mentioned in London 1794-1816, cf. Stöckl, volume 1, p. 120.
