Description

Slender round barrel with cannon muzzle, with two small ribs at top. Smooth bore in 12 mm calibre. Lock engraved with flowers and scrolling leaves. Iron belt hook bolted to the sideplate. Walnut full stock with finely engraved silver inlays. Chiselled iron furniture. Original wooden ramrod with iron tip. Length 60 cm.
Well preserved, extremely elaborately crafted weapon. The silver inlays are probably a Historicist addition of later date.

The auction includes 726 lots and starts on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 5001 - 5727. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 and Oct. 28 - 31, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
