Description

Blue-grey formal evening dress jacket and pants for Major of flight services. Jacket is constructed from finest quality tricot wool, collar piped in silver aluminum twist cord with 8 small pebbled silver buttons, button/chain closure missing. Officer quality early breast eagle in silver wire, hand applied. Rank insignia shoulder boards, sewn-in with golden-yellow waffenfarbe. Loops for two awards on left breast and two loops for ribbon bars above pocket. Tailor label inside with name tag of officer and 1938 date. White waffle-pattern vest with three mother-of-pearl buttons and back waist adjustment strap. Officer aiguillette.

The auction includes 608 lots and starts on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 2001 - 2608. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 Oct., 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
