Das Doppelblatt mit Kopf "Il Duce - Capo del Governo", datiert "30. März 1945 - XXIII", auf den zwei handbeschriebenen Seiten drückt Mussolini seine Bestürzung über die Versetzung Kesselrings aus "... Die Nachricht von Ihrem Scheiden aus Italien, um das Kommando über die Westfront zu übernehmen, das Ihnen der Führer anvertraut hat, ist für mich eine schmerzliche Überraschung ... wir haben fast drei Jahre zusammen gearbeitet, in Afrika, auf dem Boden Italiens, den Sie an der Spitze Ihrer wundervollen Truppen Schritt für Schritt bis an die Alpen verteidigt haben...". Gefaltet mit kleinen Beschädigungen. Dazu das großformatige Kuvert mit rs. Liktorenbündel über "IL Duce". Dazu eine deutsche Übersetzung.

The auction includes 608 lots and starts on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 2001 - 2608. The pre-sale viewing will take place from Oct. 18 - 21 Oct., 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
